Though Shraddha Kapoor started her career with Luv KaThe End as Rhea, she got her due only after Aashiqui 2. As soon as the film hit the theatres, she rose to fame as the non-chalant, submissive Aashiqui girl. There was no stopping for Shraddha Kapoor after her Aashiqui 2 stint. She went on signing films with diverse roles in her platter. From playing a Mafia Don in Haseena Parkar to an undercover agent in Saaho, Shraddha Kapoor had it all in her career that started in 2013.
Despite having a diverse career trajectory, Shraddha Kapoor never made it to the A-listed actresses list of Bollywood. However, with her latest release Saaho, she became a hot topic among the cinephiles. It is the first time her fans saw her as a total wrecking ball in the Prabhas-starrer. Early Life and Childhood
No single Bollywood buff can go without knowing that Shraddha Kapoor is the daughter of popular Bollywood comedian and actor Shakti Kapoor. Also, she is related to veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure while Lata Mangeshkar is her great-grandmother. However, how many of you know that Shraddha Kapoor was childhood friends with Varun Dhawan? Both of them are approximately of same age and grew together in Mumbai. In fact, in one of her interviews the Baaghi actress even revealed that she had a massive crush on Dhawan. In her chat with a film magazine, she narrated her cute story of how she confessed to him about her crush and how they both laughed it off.

In the film based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Shraddha played the role of a Kashmiri journalist Arshia Lone. Sporting a no-makeup look, the actress looked like a doe-eyed beauty opposite Shahid Kapoor. Though she didn’t bag any award for Haider, it remains her most critically-acclaimed film for now.
Shraddha Kapoor is not only a versatile actress but is also a singer. She has sung several songs in her films including Ek Villain, Haider and ABCD 2. In addition to films, she is also involved with several charitable organisations. She has walked the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week and has adorned the covers of many popular magazines. As of now, Shraddha Kapoor is busy shooting for ABCD 2 with Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi. Meanwhile, she was also seen in Saaho and Chhichore.
