EVARU’S ADIVI SESH HAD IT ALL FROM VILLAIN TO VICTOR

Ever since Panjaa, 33-year-old Adivi Sesh has become Tollywood’s go to actor for thriller movies and antagonist roles. With a diverse filmography under his name, Sesh is considered to be the most experimental stars in Tollywood and certainly the most promising actor in the recent times. In his latest offering Evaru, he portrayed the role of a justice-seeking police officer Vikram Vasudev. Undoubtedly, the film received rave reviews from the critics across the country and is currently enjoying the magnanimous rating of 8.8 on IMDb. Nevertheless, Evaru is just a tip of the iceberg when talking about Adivi Sesh. With around 20 films in his filmography, the charming actor has his name carved under every genre, from thriller to romance.

Tryst with Tollywood As A Writer

Not only a versatile actor, but Adivi Sesh has also lifted pen a couple of times for many high-rated films. He worked as a writer for films like Karma: Do You Believe That?, Kshanam, Goodachari, Evaru and Major (Yet to be released). Among these, he won Best Screenplay Award for Goodachari and Kshanam and Best Screenplay Writer for Kshanam. With so many awards in his kitty, Adivi Sesh proved that not only a vibrant actor but he’s also a proven writer.

Adivi Sesh and Regina Cassandra’s crime-thriller Evaru garnered praises from all the quarters. Not only on critical level, but the film performed decently on commercial grounds as well. This film came as a surprise for Tollywood fans. Last year, his film Goodachari performed phenomenally among the audience. Evaru became the second consecutive success. With the right choice of films, Adivi Sesh has cemented the fact that he’s here to stay.

Why He Says No To Antagonist Roles?

With his career ascending towards a glorious path, Adivi Sesh doesn’t want to risk anything. At the beginning of his career, he did antagonist roles and was quite well at it. But now, he refuses to take up negative characters. When asked by a Twitter fan if he is planning to play villain in near future, his answer was no.

Never-seen Avatar In Major

We’ve seen Adivi Sesh as a villain, police officer, RAW agent in his previous films. However, in his next offering, he’s all set to play a uniform-clad army officer. Adivi Sesh will be seen as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in Mahesh Babu’s production Major. The film is in its pre-production face and is expected to release sometime in 2020. The film will release in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The actor is taking his role very seriously and is planning on to lose around 10kg of weight.

With the right scripts in his kitty, Adivi Sesh is on a right path to become one of the most-sought after actors in Tollywood.
